As things go bad sometimes they just get worse and as this happens it becomes acceped that bad things will just happen. Until something appens that changes it all.

I am Red Sox fan and all my life I had expected bad things to happen because it was how it worked. For a fleeting moment I had believed that the bad days were over back in 2003 until a certain late night pitch by Wakefield to fucking Boone. The next season in 2004 things started as they always do lots of hopes little substance to the chances of fufilling those hopes. Dont get me wrong they were a good team but they were falling behind to the Yankees again and slipping back into mediocrity. Then in a mid season game against the Yankees Bronson Arroyo hit a slummping A-Rod. A-Rod got all huffy like he was going to fight arroyo when Jason Varitek said to him "we dont hit .218 batters take your fucking base" Im not sure what Arod said next but VTek slammed him in the face starting a benches clearing brawl. To me that was the moment everything changed for the Red Sox. I have that picture framed on my wall because it was wer everything shifted out of the well bad things kind of happen to "fuck that shit we arent going to take it" A lot of people will say it was dave roberts stolen base but I swear to god I think it was the day Varitek bitch slapped Arod here is the moment right here- bleedred.files.wordpress.com/200....jpg

I know this season is toast and perhaps his dignified tirade in the press conference wasnt exactly the moment I am looking for but I swear to god I think singeltary might be able to say that one thing make that one move that shakes this team out of its recent loser herritage
