Well I have to give credit where credit is due. The Niners beat a decent team. Of course any team that lost to the Raiders is a bit suspect, but a win is a win. I'm really glad to see Singletary getting them to play better. They now have a shot (if they run the table) of finishing 8-8.

I mean, come on. We better beat the Rams, but of we can beat either Miami or the Skins, Mike needs a year to prove what he can do.

The change in the attitude of the team seems palpable.
I think even the Yorks are smart enough to see that if they dont sign him then he is going to go somewhere else and succeed and if that happens it could be the last straw for many many fans.
Im sorry Mr. York but Bill Walsh isnt going to walk through the door so go ahead and pull the triger on this one -

Tue, December 9, 2008 - 3:21 PMI am skeptical of the York's being intelligent. I feel as if they are pulling a Georgia Frontiere so they can move them. I hope Singletary becomes the head coach next season. He is very hand on. When ever something goes wrong he is there talking to his players and getting them focused. We need that. This team is very capable with the right guidance. -

Is any town really going to build anyone a a stadium now? I really doubt it. The best thing for them would be to ride the continuing downturn with success. In a bad conomy who is going to pay to see a losing team.
I really think they might be in one of those strike while the iron is hot kind sittuations

Wed, December 10, 2008 - 1:43 AMThe son's running the team now. Don't really know too mcuh about him, but he looks like a sports guy (unlike the parents).
But yeah, if Singletary isn't hired on (at least for one more season), then I'll be leading the charge for the Yorks head. I do like the guy, and he's adding a certain somthing sumthin to the team, the fans and with the media.
