... halftime show? Ok tech. we didnt host it but I just read the wikipedia on the Niners 55-10 super bowl win over the Broncos. This is what the entry said about the half time show
<<<<<<The halftime show was a salute to both New Orleans and the 40th anniversary of the comic strip Peanuts. The show featured performances by clarinetist Pete Fountain, fiddle player Doug Kershaw, and singer Irma Thomas – all Louisiana natives. The finale featured a float that was dressed up as a riverboat that rose several stories high. The float was so huge that one of the goal posts had to be moved so it could be put on the field.>>>>>>>
Peanuts? really Peanuts? I dont remember that at all.
So anyone have any early thoughts on this years team? Does anyone know who our QB is going to be?

Well The Sporting News' pro football preview mag thinks our boys are going to suck again and finish 6-10. I think that's harsh, I see them finishing around .500 if Hill is our starter. And I think he will be unless Alex Smith is lights out in training camp. I have nothing to base this on. I saw their final game last season and I felt Singletary had them playing with an intensity severely missing when Nolan was coaching them. I think he'll keep that up this season.
