Yeah I know..old news by now. But I couldn't get on Tribe last night.
Singletary is a good choice, but I think he has his work cut out for him. I'll be rooting for him to do well the rest of the season.
Man we're not even halfway through the season and already three NFL head coaches have been fired.

Tue, October 21, 2008 - 10:54 AM3 is not such a huge number, considering. Who knows how well Singeletary will do. I would be pleased if he coached half as well as he played.

It's too bad about Nolan. I liked him as a coach and I thought he'd do better, but I hate to say it, he had all the right pieces but just couldn't put it together well. I also think his fate was sealed when he didn't challenge a call a few weeks ago.
Singletary is a good choice as well, he's of course a recognized name and I'm sure he's respected in the locker room. -

nod nod nod. I've tried to complain but when I try to send it, I get an error message.

I felt like most of the time he would challenge a call just to do it. I could go on a whole tirade about what I didn't like about Nolan but there's no point since he's now gone. -

Tue, October 21, 2008 - 11:58 AMYou have to bottom line it. The NFL is a business. Bad teams do not do as well as good teams. He had 4 years to remake the team into something that might sniff a playoff game and he could not.
