OMG..a blowout

Wow. I figured the 9ers would win today, but 35-16? Actually it should have been 35-9, but I guess the Rams scored after I left. Yes I was there and it's the first time I've been at a Niner game where the Niners had the game won in the second half. The offense was on all cylinders in the first half, thanks to the two picks by Bulger. In the second half, I think they were trying to figure out what to do with a big lead. :) The defense kept Bulger and company off balance in the second half, even if the offense didn't do squat.

Nice they get the big win today.

Next week, back to reality against Dallas (Tony Romo is healthy again).

In the NFL, any team can look good against a weak opponent. Dallas will be a test. The Rams? Well, let's just call them the St Lois goats.

Sill good to actually be able to score. Last year they were not putting up those numbers on any one.

Yeah I feel the same way. They may have a shot but I don't want to get my hopes up. *g*

I'm happy for any kind of good play from them, but holy shit was that 2nd half was ugly. Did you see the look on Singletary's face during all those o-line offside penalties. I see many push-ups on Tuesday.

Dallas they'll probably lose and have nothing to gain but pride. But damn that would be cool if they took that one!

Like I said, I think the offense didn't know how to play with a huge lead. They had the game won, but it sure would have been nice to see them get some first downs and eat up time in the 2nd half. I hope Singletary makes that whole offense do 100 pushups tomorrow morning.

Sometimes, playing with a huge lead is doing exactly what you did to get a huge lead. I am tired of teams racking up points and then trying to chew up the clock instead of doing what was successful already.

Best way to chew up the clock with a big lead? 7 points.

Yep. I used to hate Mariucci for going very conservative late in a game. They came close to blowing a few games that way.

It sure was nice to watch the Niners in a laugher yesterday for a change. Too bad we don't get to play the Lions again.

Since you were at the game, you missed seeing his face and the commentaries by the announcers. Hell, I got a bit scared and thought I had to do some push-ups!

If I had to decide right now, I would keep Singletary in order to see what he does with a whole training camp under his belt. I wonder what the offense will look like next year. I am assuming that we will have a new Offensive coordinator.

If he get's a few more W's, then I should hope Yorkey Jr. keeps him on. Personally, I think he's good not only for the team, but maybe pro-football in general.

I'm sorry I missed it. *g* I hope he put the fear of God into those guys afterwards. That was abominable..three false starts in a row.

Being at the game yesterday was surreal. A huge halftime lead and mid 70s weather in mid-November.
