Fri, February 20, 2009 - 10:39 PMI mean no disrespect to you for what I am about to say. I don't give a f*** about his debt to society being payed. His brutality goes beyond some short sentence. He is a failed human being and he is a shitty passer. Not once did he pass for 3000 yards or complete 60% of his passes while throwing for 20 tds only once. He is a gifted athlete, but we need a real passing attack to compliment our running game. Let him go to the Cowboys or Raiders, he'll be a better fit there. I don't want a morally bankrupt player diverting the 49ers from the path to prominence. I have had enough of losing. 6 years is enough and Michael Vick will only hurt the team with the media circus he will bring. The Niners have no room for error anymore. We don't need another Laurence Phillips. -

I have no problem with Michael Vick playing for the Niners or any other team. Until that is he loses at which point he should be taken out to the 50 yard line sprayed with water and electrocuted. Some in society say that once someone does his time, he should be allowed to blend back into the real world, problem is those certain people that advocate this are backing cons that did things against other human beings. All Vick did was abuse some animals...in some cultures, those animals are used as food. I'm all about capital punishment and an eye for an eye, but that goes for murders and rapist.
(and btw, I'm an owner of a rescued Pitbull and I abhor what he's done...but, I'm just sayin') -

Sat, February 21, 2009 - 6:47 PMAnimals have a right to fair treatment. If he can treat an animal that way he just as easily can treat people like that in time. I applaud your choice of pets. I just feel that he isn't sorry for what he's done, only sorry he got caught.
His moral fortitude aside, I don't want him on the team because I feel that even at his best he's an average passer. He had success winning, but was stopped by teams that had stout run defenses. If he was a better passer he'd probably be a Super Bowl QB.
